Kiewit Infrastructure West, Co. contracted Bow Engineering to provide water quality monitoring and reporting services for the Kapalama Wharf project. The scope of our work was limited to preconstruction, during construction, and post-construction monitoring and reporting. Section 401 water quality certification compliance, including consultations and meetings with Hawaii DOH – Clean Water Branch and NPDES Form F (Hydrotesting) compliance are also included in our scope. Coral mitigation around the project site was also performed as a requirement of the Department of Army Permit; corals were surveyed, harvested, and transplanted as a part of this effort.
