Kalanipu‘u at Kauai Lagoons is consisted of two multi-story condominium buildings and one multi-story timeshare building.
Bow Engineering provided civil engineering services for the 78 condominium units and a 126-stall parking lot on the resort grounds. We furnished the design for roadway, site and grading, as well as water, sewer and drainage systems. We were able to avoid storm water detention and improve the storm water quality by diverting the excess storm water runoff to the adjacent lagoon.
In addition, we obtained the grading permit and NPDES for the development. We expedited the design and permitting schedule by securing approval for the grading permit in less than two-and-a-half months.
